WORTH IT. This is such a game changer. It has made my self-tape process about three -5 steps shorter, it stores under my bed, and it is truly hassle free. It's very stable, you don't have to worry about wrinkles, and it's the best functional back drop ever!

This backdrop is so simple and amazing. It takes up minimal floor space and the handle makes it easy to travel with and transport. I’m an actor, and I use it for my self tapes. it’s completely taken away the stress of setting up a backdrop.

Very easy to set up and take down. I have only used it a couple of times, so I don't know how it will hold up in the long run...but it is good so far.

This backdrop has been a total lifesaver for me. Living in a small apartment, I don’t have a blank wall to work with, and this setup solved that problem instantly. If you need a portable solution for self-tapes or video calls, this is well worth it.

It's been almost a year since I got this for an actor who regularly records self-taped auditions. I help them record sometimes, and setting this thing up is always a breeze. Pulling it up and down is even a bit satisfying as you feel the thingamajig inside help you along. It's a bit pricey but my actor friend loves it and I feel like it's going to last for years. The backdrop itself looks solid and I'm glad I avoided all the see-through and wrinkle-prone ones on this site that people complained about. Pulling it all the way up might be difficult for shorter people, though. This is really easy to store unobtrusively along a wall or under a bed. From my research, solid grey is industry standard for self-tapes now while blue is more dated. I obviously don't know how good the white or black ones look so if you're a photographer considering those ones, check with more reviews than this one.

This changed my life. I’m an actor and just loved into a small space. Couldn’t tape my auditions without having to move a bunch of furniture around all the time, while trying to avoid doorways and wall art in the background. Now I can pull this out whenever I need and set up in a couple minutes instead of spending half an hour trying to manipulate my space

Actors, yes! This is a great investment. You can put it under your couch or bed and slide it out and literally set it anywhere and you have a perfect background. Can't do wide shots, but when can you anyways? And why would you? This is so worth it!

My office is small and there isn't an easy way to put any kind of background behind me. I tried all kinds of DIY backgrounds and they all just looked silly. I finally came across this background and it has been perfect. When I'm done with my Zoom calls, I collapse the screen, lock the lid down, and store it in a closet just outside my office. When I need it, I just go grab it (it's easy to haul around as it's not too heavy), unlock the lid, pull up the screen and I'm in business.The other thing about this specific screen is that Raubay stands behind their product. The first one I bought lasted exactly a year and then the gasket that holds the screen up went bad. I contacted them and even though I was way outside the warranty period, they offered to send a replacement gasket or give me a significant discount to buy a new one. I opted to buy a new one since they said the latest screen has been improved from previous models. So far it's been great.By the way, I got the 59.8 x 82.7 size and I put it about 2 feet behind my chair. I only use it for Zoom calls. It's a perfect size for that situation. I think it would be too small to do stand up photography or anything like that. I recommend this size only for sitting at a desk. I also had to adjust the web cam settings from "wide" to narrow because at the wide setting, this screen wasn't big enough to fill the whole background.
