Customers praised this video tripod as "sturdy" and "worth every penny," comparing it to $600-$800 models. The fluid head provides "smooth as silk" movements for professional video work. While reviewers loved the durability, versatility, and adjustable height up to 70 inches, many noted it's "too heavy" for travel, making it better suited for studio use.
- Very smooth movements. Every move it makes is smooth as silk. Worth every dime.
- This tripod should definitely be compared to $600-$800 tripods. Extremely durable and versatile.
- This is the best tripod I've ever used. The quality is apparent right out of the box.

Just like the rest of the reviews have said, this tripod should definitely be compared to $600-$800 tripods. Extremely durable and versatile with 3 adjustable positions. The only thing I’d suggest for a model or version 2 would be some updated feet. I’m not a fan of the look at all but it doesn’t take away from the construction of this rig. What can I say… love it!
The product is sturdy and worth every penny . Highly commendable grade . Weighs heavy though .Easy to use . Fluid head functionality is unmatchable. Design looks cool.
Powerful. This thing doesn’t budge. It holds my Sony 70-200 gmii lens WITH a large monitor and microphone and other accessories. You’re able to maneuver it easily and smoothly. It’s so cheap compared to huge name brands and worth trying. Personally Id say though, think it’s way too heavy for me. Therefore, I don’t take it anywhere. I keep it in the same spot in my studio space. And it works perfect for me that way.
Very smooth movements number one. That is the thing that will make or break how good a tripod is. This tripod is the winner. Every move it makes is smooth as silk. No jarring starts and finishes. No skips or jumps half way through. Just even sailing from start to finish.. Worth every dime they are asking for it. If their was a sixth star this tripod would get 7. Yes it’s a little big and bulky. Especially compared to all those little desktop models. You can not get this kind of sturdy and consistent shots from anything lite like that. Super easy to adjust everything to get that perfect shot even the feet on the floor are on a ball swivel so you can angle precisely what you need.
This is a special duty tripod that's designed specifically to support large DSLRs, teleprompters, lighting and movie cameras. Shipped with the tripod is a quality padded carrying case, instructions for use and a hex adjustment wrench. The tripod is equipped with a smooth fluid head that is able to pan 360 degrees and tilt up/down 165 degrees. The legs extend and retract using a quick lock system and at full height the camera is actually mounted over my head at 70.8 inches! But even at the highest height, the tripod remains completely stable thanks to large swiveling feet that match the contour of the supporting surface. Impressively, the legs also splay outward and can lower equipment down to 13" above the ground. The tripod can support up to 17.6 pound items using either 1/4" or 3/8" threads and both screws are included.A big test of a brand is what happens when something breaks. In my case, the tripod arrived broken and the component was a leg adjustment stop on the alloy bowl. (Pictured) After contacting the company and sending them photos, they shipped me a replacement part along with a wrench. The part arrived in only about a week and the repair took just a few minutes.Bottom Line: This is a quality tripod, made for large equipment and ships in a nice quality padded carrying bag. I would trust it with all my expensive equipment and it's sturdy enough for studio or outside use. The company stands behind their product and if you're looking for a stable tripod base, I recommend giving this one a try.
This stand/tripod is unlike any we've had or seen. I've been through many tripods over the years and this ones takes the cake. It's super strong. It's huge.We have a projector we use on a white wall in our house. The stand that came with it is a joke. We've literally been propping it up with books. It gets loose so easy.I already needed a tripod for my camera because we left a vital part to ours in France accidentally. So I decided to order this really nice one. Boy am I glad. I am the photographer for many types of get togethers and this will really come in handy. This will work with many of the devices we have to carry with us on the road. I have some theater type lights that I can also use this with. It's actions for turning are so smooth. The tighteners have such a great touch. The leg extenders are solid and snap down well. One of the reasons it's so sturdy is geometry. In one of the pictures that has the measuring tape it shows that it's 4 feet across from one foot to the next. Then it's 4 feet high to the base. So it's as wide as it is tall. Then it actually extends out about twice that if you want. That makes for a strong balance so it can handle heavy cameras on top.The nice thing is that it folds down in to a nice carrying case even though it's substantial in size.I'm going to have to be sure I put my name and number on it so it will always make it home. I don't want to lose it.
This is by far the heaviest most sturdy tripod I’ve ever used. It has a long mounting plate that will accept any camera no matter how long. It’s very tall and comes with a carry bag. Very smooth when panning. Now it is a bit heavy so maybe not great for hiking or travel but otherwise amazing. But dang is it stable and smooth.
For some reason, I was expecting a small tripod but once I received feels and look a real deal tripod. This tripod has probably the best smooth fluid head for this price range. It comes with a soft padded case, very very tall, and also can be used flat on the ground.
I cannot believe the box that came in, it was so big! For the most part it assembled for you aside from a few pieces. It comes with instructions that really hold your hand, which takes away the complicated nature of setting up a tripod. I know I’ve spent a long time trying to figure out how it works and how it all goes together, but this makes all that worry a thing of the past. It’s made out of a stable and high quality material that will have it standing not only level but also not so sensitive that if it tips it’s all over. I thought the price was expensive but I needed a nice tripod so badly, I was very surprised at how much of a difference that can make! It’s very adjustable to whatever device you need to keep level and helps you get just the right height and angle you are looking for. Very effective and does everything you could ever need it to do!
I was surprised at just how smooth and versatile this product is. Take into account that I am not a photographer, professional or otherwise, but this appears to me to be a high quality tripod. It expands to a height I measured at 70 inches, and is completely, and smoothly, adjustable.I use it to hold a laser level and find it perfect for that use. One needs a wide range of heights for projecting the laser lines onto a target, usually a wall in my case. I found the set-up and break-down for this tripod to be fast and easy, yet it has all the adjustability I need.Even broken down, it is large in its included carry bag, though, and while it's light for its size, it is still a bulky item to carry around. If you don't need the wide range of height and adjustability that this tripod offers, a more compact one might suit you better. For me, it is perfect and will replace the others I have been using.
Sturdy and balanced
Excelente trípode, tal cual como se ve en las fotos y en el video. El envío llegó en el tiempo previsto y el producto.

After my camera rig fell off a cheap tripod (and thankfully wasn't damaged), I purchased this thing. Very sturdy, quality build. There'll be no more equipment spills. I have full confidence in this thing.
This tripod was much bigger than I was expecting. Not in terms of height, but in terms of the beefiness of the head. But, because of that, it is very sturdy. I use it primarily for stationary photography so I don't have a lot of weight on the tripod but it is really good. It has a crazy amount of height adjustment, and it is easy to position it at crazy angles do the individual leg movements. The bubble level helps you keep things level when needed though. The movements of the head feel smooth, but I am not recording video so I can't say more than that. Overall, this tripod is awesome especially considering the price.
Really nicely made, and at a great price!Solid enough for the biggest of camera set ups, it also stays solid once locked down.Adjustments are simple, easy, and smooth.Materials all feel tough, and durable, and I expect it to last for my lifetime.Ball Head is really nice for this rice range too.Really solid deal, and one of the nicer tripods I've used.
It's going to be hard to find a better tripod meant for video than this one, unless you plan to spend hundreds more dollars than this costs of course. This tripod is super sturdy once it was all put together. I mean, I've used other tripods that cost me 2-3 times the price of this and weren't nearly as stable. This is just a no-brainer purchase in my mind. It full functions as intended, and the parts are of great quality. If you treat this properly, I can see it lasting a person for many years of production.
This is the best tripod I’ve ever used. The quality is apparent right out of the box. Not just the feel of the tripod but you can tell with each joint and attachment. To be honest, I’m not the best person to write a review for this. It is more tripod than I’ll ever need - meaning, I won’t be able to do it justice. I knew this when I ordered it but I loved the idea of being able to get real low with this and it hasn’t disappointed. I can get shots and footage that I never would be able to otherwise. The durability of this is not matched by any other tripod I have. That is what I expect at this price point. But I also think this is well worth it.A friend of mine who is more into photography than I am, is currently using this and has nothing but great things to say.If you know someone who needs a tripod that is heavy duty, durable and provides a lot of versatility, this is probably it.
I've used the very expensive manfroto version of this and it's a great deal compared to that. I probably won't go to the extremes of what I would push a manfroto to but I wouldn't feel uncomfortable putting my fully built-out rig on it.
It's a great tripod with fluid head and almost 18lb of max load, more than enough for what I need. It's very versatile and easy to use and set up for whatever needs you have. It works pretty well on uneven surfaces and the legs can extend to around 70 inches tall. It's very durable and the pack includes a carrying bag, which is a very nice addition. I'm very happy with the product!
