This is a well-made, professional use white background that won't rip like paper or crease like cloth. The white surface is pure white and highly reflective, providing a clean background for all sorts of photography. The material is sturdy and completely opaque, so there is no risk of extraneous light coming in from behind. The back is useful, too. It is a plain black and can also be used as a background. The screen pulls out and can be adjusted to any length. Putting it away is a breeze, too. Professionals may need a larger area, but for portraits and full body shots I cannot recommend it too highly.

Bought to use for a projector screen, wall mounting was nice and easy and the operation of the pull down and retract is really impressive. Good quality material that blocks out light from the window it covers when deployed.

Having a projector, means I am limited to our white walls for viewing purposes. I opted to order this product so that I could have a perfect white screen to project onto. My project has amazon prime built and I can stream and now watch movies in large format using the screen as well as play PC games in glorious large size.I installed the screen onto the wall, which is quite challenging because the size and weight of the item, I need the wife's help to get the screen in place. The screen looks neat on the wall once installed and it is so easy from there to use and retract. Just pull the handle to the desired length and thats it.Retracting the screen is also easy, similar to a kitchen or bathroom blind, just pull the screen slightly and carefully let the sturdy metal casing pull up the screen.Watching the projector on the screen is fun, but I can also attest to the quality as a photographic back drop. My son needed his passport photograph and was going to pay for a photo at the supermarket booth. I managed to talk him in to taking the photo at home using the screen as the back drop. After following the passport photo guidance, using his smart phone we took a few photos until we got one we were happy with. Once done, we uploaded the photo to the passport application and the photo was graded as above 90% acceptance. The photo was then approved a few days later.Excellent product highly recommended.

Really great for my work from home situation, mounted on the ceiling behind my desk and I just pull it down before meetings then let it up when I am done. Creates a very nice professional background that does not look like my bedroom office.

The RAUBAY Retractable Pull Down White Screen Backdrop isn't what I expected at all. It's quite more than I thought it was.This is very easy to set up. Fortunately, I can hang from the ceiling or pipes with no problem and the provided "S" hooks make install a matter of seconds.When I pulled the cord, I was just amazed. I was expecting it to pull down but not so smoothly, so firmly, so satisfyingly. Retracting it is also very satisfying to watch it slowly retract into the mounting case.It comes with an attached cord which is handy if the ceiling is higher. It can be wall mounted or ceiling. Wall mounting will be a bit more intensive to insure that the mounting screws are spaced properly and level. Ceiling mount could be just a couple of plant hangers spaced accordingly. Then, you hardly notice it when it's retracted. But, when you need it, man, it is an impressive piece.I chose the white. It's a very white piece of material that's backed by a matte black. I found it to have no wrinkles at all.While it does have a front and a back, if mounted from the ceiling, it's very easy to just flip it around and use the black side. This gives you double the options. This is perfect if you're short on space and need a screen. Perfect for a model to stand in front of or even use as a projector screen. It is heavy as far as the material but not so heavy that it's cumbersome. This is going to be one of the best backdrops you will ever own.

This is great for Video Conferencing and recording videos. It can fit two people. The size is bigger than expected. You don't have to worry about other objects getting into the view because the screen is a perfect size. It is Wall or Ceiling Mount. This is huge so it may not be the easiest to travel with. But it is collapsible.

The screen rolls up smoothly and without kinks. This is excellent because the screen does not require folding, ironing or rolling up. The rolling mechanism is smooth and free from any hiccups.I chose to mount mine from the ceiling of my classroom and I used screw-in hooks to secure the screen.One pull to extend and pull again to retract. I use the guest bedroom in our home as a part time studio to film content, so I like to have things in that studio that can be moved to the side when the room is occupied by a guest. The housing at the top is sturdy and the screen retracts well and neatly.2. The screen is a great size - perfect for short or long form videos.3. It is easy to hang - you have two options - either wall mount or ceiling mount. Everything you need to do either is included, and either option is very easy to do, even if you aren't very handy.4. I got the white because I thought that would be easiest to "green screen" and that turned out to be a good choice. Because I wear black often, and my channel's shirts are black, you get great contrast that is very easy to isolate.5. It is tall and wide enough to shoot video with a wide angle lens, which is perfect for what I do.6. Despite being sturdy and well made, it's a surprisingly light item, which is good since it won't drag or have issues with snap back when it's secured.7. I love that it retracts completely into the housing so nobody knows what it even is in there. We have it positioned over the closet and that's pretty much the perfect spot since it gives me the height and width I like for a video.Overall, if you are looking for retractable screen, there are many options - all different price ranges too - but THIS ONE is a solid choice which is a great price, especially considering the quality of it.
