All metal, no wobble. I use this for overhead shots and it actually stays where I put it—none of that slow drift you get with plastic arms. The ball head locks tight, C-clamp grips solid. Comes with the adapters you need. It's heavy, but that's the point. If you're shooting overhead or need a reliable mount that won't betray you mid-session, grab this.

Very stable and strong. Excellent mount for my Obsbot Tail 2. The only complaint I have is the mounting pads do not swivel… so they rub when you’re tightening it down.

A good quality stand. I use it for led flood lights in studio workshop setting. Sturdy enough for bigger rigs. Great for travelling workshop light stand. It just need some Jerry rigging to work.

The quality of this stand is quite good, and it’s very sturdy.

This is easily the best quality desktop arm I have ever owned. I have tried the springy ones which look like an angle poise lamp. I have tried the flexible “gooseneck” ones. I have tried ones which sit on a flat base and ones with a clamp. All of them have had some sort of wobble and several have felt as if they would fall off, fall over, or drift out of position at any moment.This desktop arm feels as solid and well-made as my camera tripod and stays more steady than my computer monitor when I am bashing away at my keyboard, even with a relatively heavy camera attached. Once you get the hang of what can be rotated or extended it is very flexible and can be positioned however you like. Conveniently, the set also includes a ball-and-socket adapter for easy levelling of whatever you attach to the end and a couple of extra adapters for different screw fittings.The clamp is very sturdy and fits my half-inch desktop comfortably, but I can see that it is adjustable to suit desktops much thicker.All in all a great product, and I am already thinking about getting another one.

Strong, well built, amazing price! I have two of these for my cameras, and they work great. I am able to position my cameras and they stay.

This camera mount/arm impresses from the start as it comes very well packaged and presented in a smart box with everything nicely laid out. A single piece of card within the box provides the instructions.Some assembly is required, as the entending/jointed arm needs both the clamp and the camera mount attached to it. It's a bit fiddly to set up the clamp end as it uses four hex bolts (provided) to fix the two parts together. In the box there's a small screwdriver and allen key for this, which is a nice touch.Even on its widest setting, the clamp didn't quite fit on the table I wanted to fix it to. In the end I had to pull out one of the drawers to make it work. You have to fully push the clamp onto the table or worksurface, else the arm is just too unstable to use.Once attached, using the arm is pretty simple, with rings on the tubing to allow you to extend and rotate the pieces. To change the angles, you undo the wingnuts to loosen the joints and then retighten again when in the right position.My only real issue was with the end you attach your camera (or light), as it felt a little unfinished compared with the rest. The ball-joint works well enough, although getting the camera attached securely was a bit tricky. Maybe some additional guidance in the instructions would have been helpful here.Some sort of quick release mechanism would have been great, but this would have increased the cost. Overall this is a really well made and nicely presented bit of kit that is useful without breaking the bank.

The arm is definitely all metal and sturdy. I need to purchase a traditional table with a thicker countertop. Even still, I placed the arm on my coffee table. It was secure on my coffee table! I was totally surprised and pleased that the arm held on to the table even with a camera on the arm and an uneven surface.. I didn't extend the arms the full length but it does extend to make the arm higher or to extend it further. The arm was easy to assemble and I foresee it lasting a long time.

This arm turned out to be perfect for photographing items for sale or review.It comes in a lovely presentation case, too, all well-packed, and has good quality metal tubing and connectors.I was able to attach it to a bookshelf, but no reason you couldn't attach to a desk or worktop, or any other substantial base that it can be screwed onto.It articulates well once you have it in place, and had learned what the various knobs and adjusters are for. It took quite a lot of leverage and greatly stabilised the shot and I was able to fix my camera at pretty much any orientation/angle I desired.Because of the flexibility in orientation and the length of the bars, it would be possible to over-lever or to put too much pressure on some of the fittings if you were rough with it, especially if you knocked it, but that's not an inherent fault, just a fact of life when yo have a long metal bar and some plastic fittings.Fitted the standard camera mounting, and it can be tricky to take the camera on and off - I would recommend a separate shoe because otherwise you're going to be spinning your expensive camera around to remove it. I marked it down slightly for this as once attached, whatever you've attached can be difficult to remove.Good for the price, great quality otherwise, and a permanent addition to my little item-photographing setup.

Ich habe für mein Hobby Fotografie eine Möglichkeit gesucht, Blitze, LED-Lampen und auch die Kamera an meinem Tisch befestige und in alle Richtungen gut ausrichten zu können. Ich bin von diesem Tischstativ mega begeistert. Es ist super verarbeitet, alles Metall und fühlt sich auch hochwertig an. Es lässt sich, auch durch den mitgelieferten Kugelkopf samt Adapter für alle möglichen Gewinde, super ausrichten und hält auch meine Spiegelreflex mit einem Teleobjektiv (D7500 + 70-200 2.8) stabil in Position. Alle Klemmen und Schrauben lassen sich gut bedienen und festziehen, da wackelt erst mal nichts mehr. Eine Ausrichtung ist wirklich in alle Richtungen gegeben. Inzwischen ist das Stativ meine Allzweckwaffe geworden. Es wandert von meinem Fototisch auch mal an den Schreibtisch um Mikro und Licht bei Konferenzen optimal auszurichten, trägt alle meine Blitze, Lampen und Kamera perfekt.Ich bin mega zufrieden mit dem Artikel und freue mich, dass es auch im Fotobereich stabile, gut verarbeitete Artikel gibt die nicht gleich mehrere hundert Euro kosten.

There is no sag, no cheap springing sounds, no creaking or instability. It's absolutely solid with my microphone which it easily handles weight-wise. For reference my mic is Rode NT-USB and weighs 0.63kg. It feels like it could easily handle much heavier equipment.The desk attachment is pretty clever. It has two black solid metal plates that you screw together that form a clamp that sits over the edge of the desk to which the arm is attached. Depending on the four screw holes you choose to use, the clamp either has a small clearance (0.6 inches - 2.2 inches / 1.524cm - 5.558cm) or a large clearence (2 inches - 3.5 inches / 5.08cm - 8.89cm).If you have a lipped desk, you might run in to a minor issue. You may notice that if you need the large clearance as I do for my 67mm desk, the minimum size that the screw clamps need in order to be able to reach is 2 inches. That means if the underside of the desk is smaller than this, the screw clamps will not reach when you screw them in when using the large clearence configuration. This would not be a problem if using the small configuration.I managed to solve it easily by using a piece of wood to form an extra inch that I put between the screw clamps and the desk to make them reach. I'm not docking stars because my desk is strange. Most desks don't have such a deep underside with a big lip to clear and I don't think the product could be modified design-wise to solve this, or the screws would be so long it's be cumbersome for people with smaller thickness desks. I'm actually happy that there's a clamp big enough as if you have a large desk, you probably already notice that it's hard to find anything that clears 55mm like this one does.The articulation is very well designed allowing for pretty much any cofiguration whether out to the side of a screen, or over the top of it.The first section that screws in to the desk clamp is telescopic and easily clears my 27 inch monitors. Total vertical clearence over the desk when fully extended I measured at just under 2 feet tall, 59cm or 23 and a bit inches.The first joint after the desk is telescopic vertically as described above. Just above that is a two part elbow, the first part rotates around 360 degrees, the second part rotates up and down able to reach a fully 180 degrees upward or downward facing vertically as necessary. That's a full 360 degrees of freedom in all directions. The next joint is the same again in terms of its free rotation. Finally, the business end that comes with an adaptor that you screw in has a ball socket that's easily loosened by hand by turning the circular attachment with a little less than a hemisphere's range of movement.Each of the elements are adjusted easily by hand with no tools required. The telescopic and yaw rotation pieces have cylindrical rubber coated cylinders you can unscrew by hand. The pitch rotation at the two elbows is modified by a large protruding black screw that's easy to grasp and turn.Given the great range of motion at its joints, almost any configuration seems possible.It comes in a smart black box filled with padding, one set of tools and bolts for intial assembley, the arm itself, the desk clamp, the ball joint for the microphone end, an instruction card including parts list and two metal adaptors for your devices. The adaptors are 1/4 - 3/8 inch and 1/4 - 5/8 inch. I did find that it's quite difficult to unscrew one of these once in place and had to resort to pliers to do it, but I think that's probably best given your expensive device is attached to this. The device is easier to take out of the adaptor than the adaptor is to take out of the arm if you need to detatch it easily, leave the little adaptor in place I think is best.Almost everything is screwed in by hand with the exception of the four screws needed to attach the two clamp pieces together and two stabiliser screws for the screwable desk clamps. The package contains the necessary tools to attach these with a little philips screwdriver, and the appropriate alan key. No additional tools are necessary for assembley.Beyond that, modifying the setup is all done by hand. No tools necessary making it very easy to either reposition, or put in an away position at the end of the day.If you're moving from a headset or on-desk setup, remember to buy a longer cable for your device at the same time if you're setting it up far away from your ports.All in all, and extremely high quality desk clamp. I couldn't be happier with it.

This arm is better than I anticipated. It locks very tightly in place. I’ve used it with my DSLR camera, a point and shoot camera, and a portable LED light. It held all of them exactly as I wanted. The DSLR camera was a little on the heavy side weighing in at over 3 pounds with the lens and mount, but I had no issues with the arm moving and used it for top-down shots.The arm is constructed in good materials. It comes with adapters for changing the ¼” threaded end to 3/8” which is what I used for the heavier camera (it also has 5/8”, but that’s not something I used). You can adjust the arm to different angles slightly, but for lighting I added a goose neck piece to the ¼” thread to get my light in exactly the angle and place I wanted (much easier than adjusting the stand). My goose neck piece will only hold lighter items like the LED light and point and shoot camera.The C-clamp desk mount is substantial and has two tightening screws which makes it much more secure than one large tightening screw. It did not slip once in place. I like that it folds down to a reasonable size for storage.If there is one thing I could change, it would be the ¼” threaded screw mount at the top. I would prefer one that has the removable mount that you can flip around from ¼” to 3/8” rather than use the adapter screw. I just find them easier to work with.Overall, I am really enjoying this arm and foresee me using it regularly. Five stars.

This arm is very easy to assemble with full comprehensive instructions and all tools and fixings required included.The whole unit is made from metal and really robust. It makes it slightly heavy but it is also what makes it so sturdy and durable.The adjustment availability on this is very clever and the main bard can be adjusted for height and angle and then the top fixing where the light/mic/camera fits there is a 360° rotating head that allows for finer movement and detailing. It is able to clamp firmly to both narrow and wide surfaces with ease and really does fit on tight.This really is an exceptional piece of kit that is extremely well made and incredibly versatile.Excellent quality and value
