Works great

I was able to mount a Nikon Z6II, paired with the 14-30mm f/4 lens, onto a Vizio TV Monitor. The TV has a hump in the back which does make the mount a bit precarious but it was able to handle the odd shape and support the weight of the camera. As long as I don't move the monitor it is pretty stable. The rubber bumpers grip the monitor bezel really well. Setup is straightforward and the various adjustment points made it easy to find the optimal configuration to support my camera on the humpback TV.Overall, the build quality is much better that expected. The design allows for a custom fit but with understandable limitations based on the monitors architecture. The key is to find the right balance point, like a gimbal setup, there's a sweet spot where the camera can live which only applies the necessary pressure to keep the whole rig stable. Once you find the appropriate angle and sweet spot the entire contraption is relatively solid. It was a little concerning at first, putting a Mirrorless camera on a questionable perch... but with a little patience and some iteration a sweet spot was discovered.As an alternative to other desk mounts for a camera this rig offers a solid solution keeping a neat profile for your work area. If you need a clean setup then give this mount a try... your mileage may vary.

I bought this monitor camera mount to use with my Fujifilm X100V, and it fits perfectly. The upgraded clamp design is solid and easily attaches to my monitor even works great on my slightly curved screen. It supports up to 1.4" thickness, so compatibility wasn’t an issue at all.What I really like is how stable it feels. Once tightened, it doesn’t tilt forward or feel unbalanced, even with my X100V mounted. I can adjust the camera angle easily without worrying about it slipping or falling.The 1/4" screw mount is super versatile. I’ve also tried it with a webcam and a small LED video light, and it works flawlessly. It’s nice having one mount that can handle multiple devices.Big bonus: it saves a lot of desk space. I have a larger web camera that I can't get to sit properly on my monitor - rather than buy one of those ridiculous extension "arms" that take up half the desk I opted for this, and so far it's worked better than I had expected it to. It sits "on" the top of your monitor, and you can adjust it in a myriad of ways to give you the angle you want - ie it looking down more, or up more, etc.I also tried it with my DSLR (a Nikon d series) and it fit on fine, which was a suprise to me - so if you want to mount your DSLR or mirrorless and use as a webcam this mount might work for you too.Pictured holding my rather large webcam, via 1/4" screw mount. The Raubay monitor-mounted DSLR holder is a niche piece of gear, and overall, I’m pretty satisfied. It’s designed for cameras under 4.4 pounds, and it lets you mount your DSLR on top of your monitor—perfect for stable talking-head videos or consistent framing. While the design is unique and the camera mounting pole is solid the paint on the rotating part that screws into the bottom of the camera felt a bit cheap (see picture).In terms of performance, it held my Canon M50 without issue. It clamped onto the monitor firmly, though balancing the weight forward helps keep things stable. There was no damage to the monitor, but you should be cautious with heavier setups.The build quality is mostly good—plastic and strength are adequate, thickness is consistent through throughout, hardware tightened as expected. It’s not a premium product but the fair price reflects that and it does exactly what it promises—holding a camera up top. Just keep your cam weight in check, and it’s a useful tool for specific setups.

I am happy to give RAUBAY a very solid 5 stars on this improved design! I had tried out their previous version of this mount and unfortunately it didn't work with my curved monitor. They seem to have truly listened to the people and completely fixed it! It now holds sturdy, can be adjusted for curved monitor displays, and even supports my heavy A7IV with large lens.It is surprisingly sturdy and easy to adjust, though it still doesn't allow you to tilt the camera up very much, mostly just to angle down more. It sits sturdy with no wobbling even though it really just rests on top of your monitor. I have a 32 inch R1500 curved monitor and it works great even with this heavy setup. I actually feel very confident it won't fall off the monitor now. Do keep in mind your monitor arm has to hold all the weight now but the mount itself isn't very heavy. It's mostly plastic and doesn't provide any lens support but it tightens well and didn't wobble much for me.I will always give respect where it's due, and this manufacturer actually went back to fix their design! This has to be the most space efficient solution to mounting a camera as a web cam. I love it and I'll be getting a ton of use out of this for filming content and live steaming! Well done RAUBAY, I highly recommend this mount even for heavy and expensive camera!

I purchased because I did not have room for a tripod behind my monitor; I wanted to be able to have both my Logitech web cam (which I love and has the microphone I use), and my Sony a6000 both available for web video chat and vlogging.This mount fits thinner monitors best, but can be adapted for thicker screens such as my older iMac, which is more than 1" thick. For the old iMac, the ball socket has to be rotated so the clearance slot for the neck of the shaft that goes to the camera mount is up and toward the back, so the camera can be raised to the proper angle. This makes it less convenient to adjust the ball tension screw. On my regular monitor, I can place the tension screw up and to the back, which is easier to access.You may wish you had a third hand the first time you put it all together; there are four adjustment screws involved (which give it tremendous flexibility). However, once it is close to what you want, it is easy enough to back off each screw in turn and tweak the adjustment. I left the ball tension screw loose enough that the camera stays in place, but can be moved with hand pressure. Once you get it set, there's not much that needs to be changed.I think it does very well to hold my camera and take up the least amount of space.

Even though this mount is made mostly of plastic, the build quality is very good and the plastic used is pretty strong. I like how adjustable it is to fit different situations. I can use it to hold an action camera on top of my laptop screen as well as hold a DSLR camera on top of my main monitor. You do have to be sure to have larger cameras properly balanced and centered over the mount or you will risk having it tip over. The mount itself is very adjustable, but if you have a very thick screen it might not fit. I also like how easy it is to remove from whatever you have it attached to. If you need to have the camera at a sharper angle, this might not be the best solution. But for nearly horizontal use, I think it works pretty well.

Rated at 4.4 lbs payload with two cold shoes this works for a variety of cameras, lights and mics. The mount to the monitor is solid but the fold out plastic plate with the metal stem connecting to a camera needs to be aluminum or carbon reinforced for heavier equipment. Still on a large solid monitor it works OK after setup. Meanwhile dust off that handycam with excellent optics and a monitoring screen for an awesome webcam.

This stand does a great job of holding your webcam in place as well as supporting smaller mirrorless cameras. I am thinking Micro four thirds or maybe even some APSC cameras. I personally wouldn't use it on full frame setups. I think trusting the mount with that much weight might not be the best idea. Maybe with a small lens it would be ok.

I picked this up to mount a small mirrorless camera on top of my monitor for video calls and it works exactly as advertised. The clamp grips the monitor top firmly -- works fine on my slightly curved display -- and the 1/4" screw thread fits standard camera mounts without any adapters needed.

The angle is adjustable which is handy for getting the right eye-level framing. Build quality feels decent for the price, mostly metal with some plastic bits. Its not as hefty as something from a major brand but for a lightweight webcam or small camera it handles the job no problem.

Easy to install and remove without tools, and it doesn't block any of the screen. Good option if you want to free up desk space and get a cleaner cable setup.
