6.7′ x 7.2′ Pull Down Blue Screen

I was amazed once this blue screen arrived, it was long. I usually use green for my webcast however I animate at home and for dark scenes a blue screen is better and for well lit scenes green is ideal. Screen size is 78.7inches x 86.6inches. For wall hooking the screen weighs in at 13.2 lbs.I used my old photography backdrop stand with a little bit of innovation and it works brilliantly. I also use it as a projector screen. Cheers!

We use this for self-tapes and it's wide enough to allow recording without seeing the edges (standing in front of the screen with the camera and lighting a few feet away... not right on top of the talent)

The RAUBAY Retractable Pull Down Screen arrived in an extremely large thin box, it was nicely branded but quite heavy, and was easy to unbox and get set up right away. My first impression is that it is well-made and has a professional finish to it, The screen is a versatile and well-constructed backdrop that is useful for various applications, from streaming, content creation for videos, photography, and even for chroma-keying various things.The dimensions of 78.7" x 86.6", it offers a large coverage to create a smooth, uniform background suitable for both personal and professional use.Installing the screen is very simple as picking what kind of fixture you want, the wall mount fixture offers a more permanent fixture or you can simply have it hanging if you have the right stands for it.While the installation process may require assistance due to the screen's size and weight, the final result is reliable. Once mounted, it operates seamlessly: simply pull it down to the desired length you need, and it will lock into place, to release the screen a quick tug releases the locking mechanism, allowing the screen to retract smoothly. The retraction is steady and controlled, preventing any issues with speed or slamming into the casing so you won't have to worry about damage to the screen or it flailing everywhere.The screen material is of high quality, featuring a matte finish and a tightly woven, opaque design that effectively blocks light from behind, it looks and feels professional and the price reflects thatOverall, the RAUBAY screen is a thoughtfully designed product and an alternative to the Elgato greenscreen. I am only able to review the blue version of the screen, however blue is somewhat better for chroma-keying.

Overall good for chroma key.The roll-up mechanism works nicely, just be aware it runs slowly, and resist the impulse to use it before it is installed on a wall, as the movement is slow and not much noticeable if not hung. If hung with the eyelets, the back tends to rub on the fabric unless you hold it forward a little.The colour is great, a nice vibrant blue. The fabric is rigid, but has some waves on the side, which is not an issue for chroma key or white background. If white, I would use it for projection occasionally, but not for a permanent setup, and not with my short throw projector.It is easy to hang on walls with simple screws. It is easy to hang on a backdrop stand, and since the eyelet are on the ends, the backdrop pole won't drop too much. With my bigger backdrop tripod, only the tripod would be sufficient.The package is solid with good padding and a lot of space around it, it is well protected and should arrive intact.

My son is a professional cinema actor and we installed this retractable backdrop to replace our original one that wasn't nearly wide and whose tripod-style supports took up too much space in our production room. The backdrop color is blue, which shows up very well with standard three position lighting (key, fill and overhead) for both self-taped video auditions and call-back meetings with directors and producers. I like being able to return the backdrop to its original closed position when not in use. I mounted it on the wall using two 75 lb. capacity sheetrock screw anchors. Great buy.

If you need a chroma screen, especially one that's very large, and build quality is a must, this is a good screen to get. It may not be the cheapest, but it's extremely well made, retracts smoothly, and is easy (enough) to permanently mount.

Perfect for shooting photos & video for chromakey. Nice and wide with very smooth pull down mechanism. The system keeps the background nice and wrinkle-free, ensuring that this will be a useful tool for a very long time given the amount of care any gear deserves.
